Christmas is already around the corner. For many of us, in addition to buying gifts and getting together with family, this means decorating apartments and houses. One of the most decorated places during Christmas is the door.
Christmas twigs, winter wreaths or festive decorations - all this will stand out beautifully on your front door. However, the problem arises when you try to place the decorations on the door without having to drill into it.
So how to deal with the decoration of plastic doors? Let's take a look at it.
Decorations on the ribbon
One of the most aesthetic solutions is to hang the decoration on a satin or other ribbon. Choose a ribbon that matches the color and design of the decoration and pass it over the closed door towards the inside, where you stick it to the door with, for example, double-sided tape or a glue gun. Only the decoration and the ribbon will be visible from the outside. From the inside, you can place a second decoration that will decorate your door from the inside.
Silon
Silón offers similar possibilities as ribbon, with the difference that it is absolutely translucent. The door decoration will therefore give the impression that it is firmly attached to the door. A great alternative is also the connection of two decorations, for example wreaths, on the silo - one will be placed from the outside and one from the inside. However, use this method only if it is a door that is in an apartment building or block of flats. The entrance door in the house is exposed to daily gusts of wind, which could make fixing the ornaments impossible.
Self-adhesive hooks
You can also place decorations on the door with the help of self-adhesive hooks that you stick on the door. You can choose special hooks designed for this or use hooks for bathroom towels, for example.
